Using a known stress or unpleasant memory from your personal life, Dr Sean steps you through the mindfulness protocol that he developed for his personal use and teaches in his online courses.
This protocol is based on the revolutionary idea that the thought process is a precise series of steps, like playing hopscotch - an algorithm.
When a healthy belief is unexpectedly compromised, the “shock” can cause unhealthy emotionality to be stored in your mind / body. Increasing your chance of living in the parallel universe of what could have been.
The aim is to decrease your sensitivity and reactivity to the "shock" and unhealthy emotionality of that experience. Removing the firing pin from a "hair trigger" is a good analogy.
Holding different reflex points and using a concise interactive question and answer format, we unwind the logic and emotion of the thought process that you engaged in whilst in that state of “shock”.
The interconnectedness of emotions / organs / nerves and muscles, under Traditional Chinese Medicine, explains why long-term physical symptoms can be associated with unhealthy emotionality.
Recurring emotional patterns in your life may also be identified in these online sessions. If so, the same mindfulness protocol can be used repeatedly in the same Zoom session.
